How to treat internal hyperplasia after cervical conization

Hyperplasia of the internal mouth after cervical conization can be intervened through drug treatment, physical therapy or re-operation. Hyperplasia of the internal mouth may be related to factors such as local inflammatory reaction, abnormal wound healing, and cervical adhesion. 1. Drug treatment:

2. Physical therapy:

When the hyperplastic tissue is relatively localized, laser vaporization or cryotherapy can be selected to eliminate abnormal growth through physical means. High-frequency electrocautery is suitable for pedunculated hyperplastic tissue, and care must be taken to protect the surrounding normal cervical tissue during the operation. After treatment, regular review is required to observe the wound healing.

3. Cervical dilation:

If there is pseudohyperplasia caused by cervical adhesions, cervical dilation can be performed under anesthesia. After surgery, an intrauterine device or cervical support tube is placed to prevent re-adhesion, and estrogen is used to promote endometrial growth. This operation needs to be performed 3-7 days after menstruation is clean.

4. Cone cutting again:

For large-scale recurrent hyperplasia, a second cervical conization may be required, and a cold knife or LEEP knife may be used to expand the scope of resection. It is necessary to complete HPV testing and colposcopy to evaluate the nature of the lesions before surgery, and attention should be paid to retaining sufficient cervical length to maintain reproductive function during surgery.

5. Traditional Chinese Medicine Conditioning:

Traditional Chinese medicines with the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, such as Guizhi Fuling Capsules, Fuke Qianjin Tablets, etc., can be used as an auxiliary treatment. Local Chinese medicine preparations such as Sophora flavescens gel can be tried, and moxibustion on Guanyuan, Qihai and other acupoints can be used to improve local blood circulation, but it should be carried out simultaneously with Western medicine treatment.

Avoid bathing and sexual intercourse within 3 months after surgery, and conduct regular gynecological examinations and HPV typing tests. Keep your vulva clean and dry and choose breathable cotton underwear. In the diet, consume more high-quality protein and foods high in vitamin C, such as fish and broccoli, to promote tissue repair, and avoid spicy and irritating foods. Colposcopy needs to be reviewed promptly when abnormal bleeding or increased discharge occurs.
