Appropriate aerobic exercise can indeed help improve the performance of moisture, but it cannot solve all moisture problems alone. If the exercise method is wrong, the more you move, the more moisture you will get.
I lived in the south for the past two years during the rainy season. It rained every day for half a month. My body always felt as if I was wrapped in half-dry clothes. Nowadays, many professionals in traditional Chinese and Western medicine have mentioned that aerobic exercise cannot be regarded as a "panacea" for eliminating moisture. The causes of moisture we often talk about are very complex. Some are exogenous dampness caused by external environmental tides, and some are internal dampness caused by poor movement of spleen and stomach. If the spleen and stomach are deficient, or there is pathological moisture such as dampness, heat or cold-dampness, it is difficult to reach the root cause by exercise alone. For example, if you have iced milk tea with hot pot every day, the spleen and stomach have long been damaged. Even if you run ten kilometers a day, the moisture cannot be transported and transformed, and the moisture will naturally not be cured. Moreover, if you sweat too much due to excessive exercise, it will deplete body fluids and energy, making the spleen and stomach even less dynamic, which will instead give an opportunity for dampness evil to take advantage of.
In fact, to put it bluntly, the core of whether aerobic exercise can help dehumidify is not the exercise itself at all, but the intensity you choose and your post-exercise habits. If you just want to improve the mild humidity caused by not sleeping well and the rainy season, choose medium-intensity aerobic exercise such as brisk walking, jogging, and Tai Chi. Stop when you sweat a thin layer. Wipe the sweat promptly after exercise, drink warm salt water, and avoid blowing cold wind. You can basically feel that your body is much lighter. If you already have symptoms of heavy moisture such as severe edema, joint pain, oily scalp and hair loss, it is best to see a professional doctor to find out the cause, and then combine it with diet or conditioning, and then combine it with appropriate exercise. The effect will be really good. Don't do it by yourself and hurt your body.
